A full day of screenings, including The Yes Men Fix the World, Theater of War, Biomodd (ATH1): A Living Game Computer as Social Sculpture and two Tilda Swinton screenings. A highlight of the day, is a screening of The Red Shoes with a performance by the Houston Ballet at Discovery Green at 6pm.
Saturday has a bunch of different screenings, including the Yes Men Fix the World, a sneak preview of the new Tilda Swinton feature, and the Lost World with live music by Dengue Fever.
Sat in on the rehearsal of the Lost World. It was excellent. Wish I could clone myself to be at both locations.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday all have events around Richard Rogers & Susan Meiselas, including two screenings of The Windmill Movie. Today screens Meiselas’ Pictures From A Revolution.
Also tonight features two musical performances, When It Was Blue, showing at Rice, and Peter Pan, screening at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

Ant Farm documentary screening tonight at U of H copresented with Aurora Picture Show. Filmmakers Laura Harrison and Beth Federici and Ant Farm founders Chip Lord and Curtis Schreier will be there.
Tonight kicks off the long awaited Cinema Arts Festival Houston, with Richard Linklater’s “Me and Orson Welles”.
